So here’s the thing… we are super emotional people… we feel all the emotions & cry at the most random things! When we say we want to capture the honest & authentic moments… we want you to feel whatever you are feeling! If you’re feeling joyous as anything then frolic along! If you’re feeling crazy then jump & run around like lunatics! If you’re feeling emotional or even sad, then we want you to feel those emotions… We are all about the experience.. the adventure, the time well spent together, so we want you to move through each emotion together & navigate those as a couple! We want you to be free & have fun. This is how we can tell your true story of who you are, so that your children & grand children can look back & see the beautiful legacy they come from.

Hi, Lachlan is the name but Lachy is cool too.
I grew up being called Rennie, which I loved because the name carries a strong meaning in some interpretations. So if you want to, you can call me that as well.
I am definitely an introvert but when needed can be loud and fun. I often will put myself into a bit of a character which brings this out. I love music, it definitely makes me feel good. I am a sucker for an epic building song but at the same time love a thrasher of a punk song. When I was 16 I wanted a nose ring, bleached blonde hair and tons of tattoos. I now have 1 very small tattoo, it hurt and I said I will never get another one!
Being in this industry, if I am honest, it stresses the hell out of me. Getting things ‘perfect’ is a huge thing, but perfection is a process. What I have learnt is to let people tell their own story. No story is perfect but when it is a memory to watch back or to look through over the many years to come, with grandparents, kids, grandkids… That, is perfection.

I am a creative soul & full time photographer & small business owner! I have a bubbly personality & am always looking for a good laugh! Like really… I laugh a lot & many have mistaken me for a witch!
I consider myself an extroverted-introvert… or maybe I’m just a divergent?! I’m not really sure… All I know is, I don’t fit completely into one category & I understand both types of people… it’s very confusing. I can’t even do personality tests without them being almost equal in all parts!
When I meet someone new, I want them to feel comfortable around me… maybe even like they have known me for YEARS… & I truly believe that it is SO important for my couples to feel this way in a session with me too! So here’s a few fun facts: I binge watch waaaay too many tv shows & movie series. I love spicy foods, I will ALWAYS add chilli, hot sauce or jalapeños to my meals.. my go to cuisines are always Mexican or Italian.. definitely can’t go past some good Indian food either! You will often find me quoting movies or singing a song during conversation. I always have a song playing in my head & my hair changes quite often, you won’t keep up with it.
I have a deep soul & a sensitive spirit. I feel things deeply & tend to take on the emotions of other people like they were my own. This is the part of me that yearns to bring out the beauty & fire in the hearts & eyes of the people I take photos of, because I believe that our souls & spirits can be captured through a lens for the world to see & that just maybe those photos can influence someone who sees them… I think this is why getting in front of a camera is such a vulnerable experience. I’m here to capture the vulnerability of your soul!
